Permaculture Brown Bag

  • Willow Bend Environmental Education Center 703 East Sawmill Road Flagstaff, AZ, 86001 United States (map)

Join Willow Bend and Resilient Ecology Systems and Design for a short discussion of permaculture in northern Arizona and a presentation on the Parks Permafarm project.

Scott Ross is the owner of Resilient Ecology Systems and Design, the LLC that manages the Parks Permafarm. Scott is a certified permaculture designer from the Permaculture Design Institute in New Mexico. He has done several designs in the Flagstaff area and is constantly looking to learn more about how to create sustainable food systems in Northern Arizona.

The Parks Permafarm is a project to demonstrate Permaculture principles in the high, dry, windy, heavy clay conditions present in Northern Arizona. The vision is to create a fully self-sustaining, ecologically regenerative, fun, and educational environment to teach and research ways to improve local food access and production.
