Coconino County Grower Coalition

Do you want to build a more robust food system that feeds our community and cares for our farmers and ranchers?

You’re in the right place.

As part of a Pinnacle Prevention grant, the Coconino County Grower Coalition connects farmers & ranchers with statewide movements, provides farmer-to-farmer networking opportunities, and shares resources with one another.

Farmer & Rancher Resource Fair

With the help of several local partners, Flagstaff Foodlink is hosting a resource fair for local growers on Thursday, 3/21. The event will consist of:

  • Farmer-to-farmer networking

  • Presentations & discussions from local Natural Resource Conservation Service agent Sierra Frydenlund

  • Presentation & discussion from local Farm Service Agency agent Calvin Johnson

  • Lunch & Resource Expo, ft. local agricultural agencies, including Local First AZ, Purchase Local AZ, Coconino County Extension Office, & others!

  • An in-person statewide food action plan afterward!

Farmer-to-Farmer Networking Opportunities

Farming can be an isolating field. One of our goals as a coalition is to connect farmers & ranchers to one another - to share resources, share stories, and create a stronger, more resilient community & food system.
