Free Honeybee Workshop

  • Coconino County Courthouse 200 North San Francisco Street Flagstaff, AZ, 86001 United States (map)

Writer and philosopher Aldous Huxley argued that "man is a multiple amphibian." In other words, human nature is multifaceted.

Flagstaff beekeeper Patrick Pynes thinks about honeybees as being similarly multifaceted. In this informal talk, Pynes will discuss and tell stories about honeybees as superorganisms (insects); as semi-domesticated animals (mammals); and as flowering plants, in close relationship with beekeepers and other human beings.

This workshop is part of the City of Flagstaff Earth Day 2017 Celebration.
