Garden Ninja Tour: Season Extenders
Growing food in Flagstaff is hard. We need all the help we can get.
Flagstaff Foodlink is excited to announce our second annual Garden Ninja Tour on May 19th, 2018 9 am - 12 pm. Join us to tour three different high performing season extenders including a biodome, hoop house, and small passive solar greenhouse. Participants will be provided with a handout that includes a cost/benefit analysis of each different type of design as well as some information on pricing and links to online resources. Cost is $10/person or $15/per two adults. Kids are free. Tickets can be purchased online or in person at the event.
The tour starts at the Museum of Northern Arizona Colton Garden where participants will receive a map and directions to the two remaining locations. Please bring a print out of your receipt or plan to show the confirmation email on your phone at check-in.
The Museum of Northern Arizona's Colton Garden is located on the east side of highway 180 across from the Museum exhibits building. If you are driving north on 180, turn right at Winding Brooke Road (as if you are heading to the Peaks Senior Living). Go to the "T." Turn left at "T" and park. The garden is behind the brown cabin (Newberry). Questions? Email firstname.lastname@example.org.
